Update: Night one in his own bed...

It went very well! He actually stayed there all night. I watched him as he woke up this morning (yes, he woke without me having to literally pull him out of bed) and he looked so shocked to be in a different environment.

I'm so glad the night went well...for both of us. I'm also glad I didn't have to find room to sleep in this bed!
